Ok this episode strain was Guava Gelato and it knocked me out of my shoes; forming sentences was hard. Kelly was sick so we got weird, since no one was there to supervise us, but this is a one take episode with zero editing. Fresh Outta F**ks

This is the longest episode of THC history, featuring my good friend Allison owner of Salon Sage. That being said - the least edited episode. The more I listened to it the more I realized if we didn't say it to their faces, we would. And if they didn't want the smoke they wouldn't ask for it. Who is they? You'll have to listen to find out, but its an episode of what its actually like being a salon owner, our base line of anxiety, and the random ass things we have to deal with because we actually do care; despite popular belief. At the end of the day we love people, we do it for the people that believe in us and our businesses! So cuddle up, grab the popcorn, and open your social media, cause these people are real.

What We Came Here To Do

Listen, I am approaching my yearly burn out and that means I am fresh outta F**ks, I made this podcast to talk shit and thats just what we do... before we get off on a tangent. Todays hemp is an exclusive strain, Red Runtz and it does not disappoint. The Hair industry here in Charleston, SC is sad, and angry at that. These folks have scarcity mentality and choose to bicker and be mean rather than gather and empower! So here I am getting on the band wagon and letting them know, that I know whats said, and I know who says it. No one is safe from this podcast anymore. But of course, this is all in good fun (insert wink face here) draw your own conclusions. Names are named in future episodes; maybe.

In a Bucket?

We finish off the Gary Peyton strain today, and discuss how we haven't been able to get our gas station snacks for weeks because of a guy and a bucket... We also go into a little bit of couples relationship navigation when it comes to who decides what, what drives us crazy, and how/where we mostly fight as couples. We also take a detour to my fave movie genre horror, and whats 'classic' and whats not; as well as the first movie to f**k us up. It's random, it's fun, it's better than reading from a topic list the boys co-created I promise. 

On the Road - with Rosa Cisneroz

Ok we recorded this before I figured out the sound but it's worth the listen! Rosa and I travel the world teaching, and she always blows me away with how she also owns a business, has a family, and climbing this ladder in the beauty industry. So if you've ever been told you cant do something because of a circumstance or another part of your dream you want; then this episode is for you. You can do it all, with balance and hard work; but you can!

Sunshine, the Movie not Us

This is a weird one, but Chris hooked us up with some Gary Peyton and it was pretty silly. Possibly the darkest episode with some TW: death, Suicide, Submersibles. Also if you like weird dark space movies, try Sunshine, I give a 9/10 for drama and suspense. The sound is almost perfect, I think at the end of the day we under estimate Chris's volume and we make him sit too far from the mic.  I also for legal reasons want to say we do not believe nor agree with any Tik Tok narratives and I do love Oprah. You'll have to listen o clarify but again, welcome to the Thunderdome this one's chaotic.

Boomers Man

Trigger Warnings for mental health discussions: trauma, parenting, suicide. We start out this episode trying a new LEGAL hemp strain which turns out to be 10/10. We discuss a new book about my favorite topic, Boomer Parenting. Our generation gets a bad wrap by the generation who raised them and it's something I like to talk, and joke, about. Because I choose humor as a coping mechanism some get offended; since i tried depression and it just didn't work for me I'll go with offense. No boomers were harmed in the making of this episode. We also touch on the social norms of nightlife and talking to people in public (my least favorite activity) To your listening enjoyment we figured out the mics- and I lowered Chris's mic too much so we fixed it, but also broke it a little. Next one will be better haha Please remember this is all in good fun and we are enlightened during our conversations to create a free/safe space, all are welcome. Except maybe boomers. Lunatics vs My Service Dog

Ok full disclosure, I have a small service dog. I chose a small breed because I travel nationally for work, but the generally public cannot f**king handle it and I don't get it. We dissect grown humans psyche when seeing a dog and the unhealthy ways they approach it as I also navigate healthy ways to deal with it. Our weekly gas station snack trip had us walking out of the gas station like "this is an episode" since a grown ass woman came at me like a fast zombie; not a slow zombie. This happens to me more than I'd like and I wanna know why. Why cant folks mind their business, and why does having a service dog make my life easier and also so much harder.
